How to Download Music Off of a Computer to a Boost Mobile Phone
1. Insert an SD memory card into the card slot on your Boost Mobile phone. Most device models position this slot beneath the battery or on the side of the phone.
2. Connect your Boost Mobile phone to your computer by plugging one end of the USB data cable into your cell phone and the other end into your computer's USB port. The PC will automatically detect your Boost phone and prepare itself for proper communication with the device.
3. Click the 'Start' menu on your desktop computer, scroll to 'All Programs' and then select the 'Windows Media Player' icon from the list of installed software. After Windows Media Player has started, your Boost Mobile phone will be detected by the program and you will be asked to give your phone a name for future recognition.
4. Click the large 'Sync' button at the top of the Windows Media Player program window. A generic cell phone icon will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the window in a separate pane beneath the familiar name you chose and your currently available song files will appear in the larger center area of the screen. Beneath the cell phone icon will be a horizontal storage capacity meter indicating the remaining space available on the SD memory card inserted in your Boost phone.
5. Choose the songs to download from the larger center portion of the program window. Scroll through the music list and locate the songs you want downloaded to your mobile phone. Place your mouse cursor over the song file of your choice, hold down the left mouse button and drag the file into the right-hand pane beneath the cell phone icon. Use this method to add all the music you want onto your phone. With each new file you drag to the 'Sync' pane, the remaining available storage space meter will decrease based on the size of the file. You may continue to add songs until there is insufficient capacity on the storage card to hold more files.
6. Initiate the download process after you have selected all the songs you want transferred or maximized the available storage space on your Boost Mobile phone. Click the 'Start Sync' button at the bottom of the right-hand pane to initiate the actual downloading of your song files. The duration of this process will vary depending on the number of songs you chose and the speed of your computer.
7. Disconnect your cell phone from the computer. After the successful transfer of music to your Boost Mobile phone, unplug the USB data cable from your device and your computer.
How to Find a Cell Phone Number Free
1. To get started, you will need the full, legal name of the person whose cell phone number you're trying to find. However, if the person is recently married or has always gone by a nickname, have that handy as well. You never know how the person's name is listed in association with his cell phone, so be prepared to have a standby name to search just in case.
2. Ascertain the person's location. As a cell phone search for a person's name will no doubt provide numbers in various states, you should pinpoint the state that you believe the person lives in. The exact city will be even more helpful. If you think the person's cell phone might be listed in another city or state--for example, someone who's recently moved from one state to another or a college student who's from another part of the country--have that information handy, too.
3. Try the White Pages online. Although in the past the White Pages were strictly a directory for residential phone numbers, they now offer listings for people's cell phones. Search the White Pages online (see Resources) to see if the person's cell phone number has been added to the directory.
4. Use a free online search engine. Although many sites will search listings and provide limited access to results for free, they will only provide the actual number once you pay a fee. However, Phonebooks.com offers the most information when it comes to looking for a cell phone number for free.
5. Use a reverse phone number search. If you need to look up the owner of a cell phone number, or if you want to check to see if you have the correct mobile number for the person you want to contact, try Reversecellphones.com. This site provides a free reverse phone number search that includes mobile numbers.
6. If all else fails, you can always type in the person's full name into Google and see what results pop up. With as much information that exists on the Internet these days, many people have their full contact information on various sites that will appear upon a simple Google search.
How to Speed Up My 3G Connection for Free
1. Reboot your 3G cell phone. Much like a computer, your device can also have small glitches that occur and rebooting might address those problems.
2. Attach a USB cable to your phone and computer. This enables your 3G phone to automatically download updates to the 'firmware' or software of your mobile device.
3. Go to an outdoor area. In the same way that a traditional cell phone receives a weaker signal when you use it inside, you have the chance to boost the strength of your 3G signal when you use it outside.

How Do I Block a Phone Number for Free?
1. Block a number through your cell phone's settings. Consult your user manual or phone menus to see if there is a call block/unblock setting where you can enter in the number you want blocked.
2. Download a free call-blocking application. Depending on your device, there may be third-party applications available to block one or more phone numbers. The Android operating system offers several free programs, and the BlackBerry App Store includes free trials or 'lite' versions, meaning you don't have the full range of services but may be able to do what you need without purchasing. Visit the app store for your particular smart phone.
3. Contact your wireless service provider. Many providers will let you manage blocking services online after registering for an account. Ask about blocking a specific name or phone number. You may have other options as well, such as blocking all restricted, unavailable and private numbers. Manage your settings online as needed.
4. Register to end telemarketing calls. Contact the Federal Trade Commission at (888) 382-1222 or visit DoNotCall.gov to enter your phone number in the Do Not Call Registry for free. While this will not block a specific number, it may block up to 80 percent of telemarketing calls.
