Over the Phone
1. Contact AT&T at 800-331-0500 and follow the prompts to speak with a representative.
2. Inform the representative of your intent to set up a wireless account. Ask the representative to provide you with a listing of plans and phone specials that AT&T currently is offering.
3. Select a wireless phone and choose a plan that has 'Messaging,' which enables you to use the SMS feature on your phone.
4. Provide the representative with the information requested of you, such as your name, billing address, driver's license number and/or Social Security number. Wait for the representative to set up the account. In some cases, you may need to provide the representative with your credit card information to pay for any charges associated with opening an account and activating your equipment.
5. Write down your order confirmation number and your mobile phone number. This is the number that you will use to send SMS messages. Wait for your phone to arrive in the mail. Follow the instructions to activate the device.

1. Disconnect your headset from the charging source (if applicable). Do not power the headset on yet.
2. Power on your phone, and open the main menu. Access your Bluetooth options -- usually found under 'Tools' or 'Settings.'
3. Choose 'On' to turn on your phone's Bluetooth.
4. Place your headset in pairing mode. This varies by model; however, many headsets can be put in pairing mode by pressing the center 'Call Control' or 'Power' button for five to 10 seconds. You will notice the indicator lights flashing or staying solidly lit when the headset is ready to be paired.

7. Enter the headset's pairing passkey on your phone if prompted. (Not all devices require this. See your user guide for the passkey specific to your device.) The passkey is set by the headset manufacturer, but is often '0000' or '1234.' Press 'OK.' Your headset and phone will connect automatically and are ready for use.

1. Open the web browser on your mobile and go to the 'Hide Mobile' proxy to alter the content controls connected to your ability to browse. You can access web pages blocked by content controls with 'Hide Proxy,' which uses a free proxy service. 7. Open you web browser on your mobile phone. Go to the 'Stornge' proxy web page. This is a free proxy service that allows your mobile to visit blocked web pages while hiding your IP address.
8. Go to the text bar, which is found in the upper-left area of the 'Stornge' web page and type in the blocked web page's URL.
9. Click 'Go!' under the text bar, and 'Stornge' will open the web page on your mobile through its server.

How to Send SMS in PDU Format


1. Press the 'MENU' button. Navigate to 'Text Messages' or 'Messages.' Press the 'OK' button to launch it.
2. Type AT+CMGS=yyyyy. Replace 'yyyyy' with recipient's phone number. Press 'Enter.'
3. Enter your SMS message. Verify that it is 160 characters or fewer.
4. Press 'CTRL' and 'Z' at the same time to send the message.
