Funtonia.com (full link provided in 'Resources') is a special ringtones website which caters exclusively to Virgin Mobile users. Before you can begin downloading ringtones to your cell phone, you will need to create an account. Do this by navigating to the website, typing in your full cell number, creating a password, and typing in your email address. Once you're done, click 'Submit.' You will now be able to log into the site. Log in and you will be able to look through the site's wide selection of ringtones from popular artist's songs. Select the song you want to download. Because the site already has your number you will receive a text with a Web site and a key code. Navigate to the site given via the web browser on your phone and type in the key code. The song will now begin to download onto the phone.
Myxer
Myxer is another website which allows its users to download free ringtones, but it is not Virgin Mobile exclusive. Navigate to the Myxer.com website. When you arrive, you will want to type in the song or artist you are searching for, and then select 'Ringtone' from the pull down menu. Click 'Find This' and you will be taken to a page which displays all the songs fitting your search. Download the song by clicking on it, then select 'Send to Phone.' A text will now be sent to your Virgin Mobile cell phone. Like the other site the text will include a link, plus a key code. Go to the link on your mobile Internet browser, and then type in the code. The ringtone will now download.
Brinked
Brinked is another site which allows all cell phone users the ability to download ringtones. This site does not have as many songs as Funtonia or Myxer, but there is still a large selection. To search for a song, type the title or artist in to the search bar in the middle of the screen. When the song you want loads, click the 'Send to Phone' button. A new window will load, asking you what mobile company you have. Select 'Other Company.' You will be asked this again, and select 'Other Company' again. From here you will need to type in your cell phone number. The song will now begin to download to your phone.
