How to Use a Computer as a Hands
1. Activate Bluetooth on your cell phone. You can usually find this option under the 'Applications' or 'Settings' menu.
2. Pair your cell phone with your computer. Set up a new partnership on your phone, which will prompt it to scan for Bluetooth devices in the area. Select your computer name from the list and confirm.
3. Create a passkey. Use the phone keyboard to enter a four-digit passkey of your choice. Enter the same passkey into your computer when requested, and click 'OK.' Your computer will show 'Bluetooth Connection Successful.'
4. Select the hands-free option on your cell phone and confirm. Choose your computer name from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone and set it as your hands-free device. A headset icon will appear at the top of your phone screen.
5. Answer the phone when it rings by clicking the pop-up that appears on the bottom right of your computer screen. You will be able to see the caller's number and will have the option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the call.
How to Get Free Airtime or Minutes With ATT
1. Purchase a new AT&T phone. You can find one at the AT&T store, on the AT&T website or through participating retailers. When you purchase a phone, you will get minutes added on to it.
2. Contact AT&T Wireless. Provide your account details. Ask the representative if there are any specials or deals involving airtime or minutes. If you have been a longtime customer, you may have access to free minutes.
3. Sign up for an unlimited plan. AT&T offers plans where you can get unlimited nighttime and weekend minutes. It all depends on whether you have a contract or a prepaid plan.
4. Change your current plan. They may offer a bonus if you upgrade your phone or your current plan. The bonus typically comes in the form of free minutes or free airtime. You can upgrade either online or through the phone.
5. Search for deals in your town. Visit the AT&T store for weekly specials on free airtime and minutes. Alternatively, you can search the website or look through your newspaper. Sometimes, they will offer specials to both new and current customers.
How to Change Caller ID for Free
1. Open your Web browser and navigate to a site that lets you spoof (fake) your caller ID number. Sites such as Covert Calling, SpoofTel, TeleSpoof and TraceBust all enable you to place a call and choose the number you want to appear on the other person's phone display screen (links in Resources). While the sites do charge for their services, you can create a trial account or make a test call free.
2. Type your own phone number in the 'Your Number' or 'Your Phone Number' field.
3. Enter the number of the person you want to call in the 'Your Friend's Number,' 'Destination Number' or other similarly named field.
4. Enter the fake number you want to appear on the other person's caller ID display in the 'Spoof Number,' 'Fake Number' or 'Number to Display' field.
5. Enter the CAPTCHA security text in the appropriate field, if prompted.
6. Click the 'Call Now,' 'Place Call,' 'Try Now' or other similar link or button. Wait a few seconds for your own phone to ring, and then answer it. After you answer your phone, the spoofing service connects you to the number of the other party. When the phone of the other person rings, the 'spoof,' or fake, number you entered appears on his caller ID display.

How to Send Free SMS Through an Internet Account
Send and Receive Text Messages from the Internet for Free
1. Navigate your Internet browser to Google Voice.
2. Click on 'Create an Account,' if you do not currently have a Google account.
3. Log in to Google Voice either with the new account you just created or your existing Google account.

How to Send an Ecard From an iPhone
1. Tap the Applications icon on the desktop of your iPhone. Tap the 'Search' button in the bottom navigation menu. A search bar will appear.
2. Type 'ecard' in the search bar and click 'Enter.' A list of ecard applications will appear containing both paid and free options. Tap the ecard application you want to download.
3. Double-click 'Install' and you will be prompted for your iTunes password. Enter your password and click 'OK.' Your application download will begin on your desktop. The icon will appear in grey until the download is complete.
4. Tap the ecard application once it is full installed and select the ecard you wish to send. Ecard applications typically categorize greetings by occasion so that they are easy to navigate. Enter a personalized greeting if the option is available. Most free ecard applications will not offer you option of customizing your greeting.
5. Enter the email address or mobile phone number of the recipient and click 'Send.'

2. Enter the number of the recipient in the 'To' field.
3. Enter your own name/nickname or leave this field blank.
