How to Add SMS to Gmail
1. Visit the Gmail website at Gmail.com and sign into your account.
2. Click the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen and select the 'Mail settings' option.
3. Open the Gmail Labs window by clicking the 'Labs' link in the Gmail settings menu bar.
4. Scroll down the list of Labs options and click the 'Enable' radio button for both 'SMS (text messaging) in Chat' and 'SMS in Chat gadget.'
5. Click the 'Save Changes' button at the top of the screen. You now have a 'Send SMS' widget in the left sidebar of your Gmail inbox. Please note that you cannot receive a text message from someone you haven't texted using this widget.

How to Send SMS by ICQ
1. Launch ICQ on your computer. Sign in with your username and password.
2. Click the SMS tab on your contact list.
3. Enter the person's mobile number. Or, you can enter the person's name and it will automatically enter that person's mobile number.
4. Write your message in the instant messaging box. Verify that it is 160 characters or less.

How to Uninstall Crunch SMS
1. Click the 'menu' button on your Blackberry's homepage. Scroll down and click the 'advanced settings' or 'options' button---depending on the specific version of the Blackberry device. Either button will suffice for the uninstall function. Scroll down and click the 'applications management' button.
2. Browse for the 'Crunch SMS' application and select it. The phone will prompt a 'delete?' message. Select OK. The program should be deleted.
3. Remove the Crunch SMS icon by returning to the menu page. Click the 'applications' button. Select the Crunch SMS icon and choose the delete button. Restart your device.
4. Check your applications window to ensure the application has been deleted. If the icon still shows, then check your firewall settings and uncheck the 'SMS' option. Repeat steps 1-3. If the icon no longer shows, this means you have deleted the Crunch SMS program successfully.
How to Change the Color of Chat Bubbles on Your iPhone 4
1. Turn on your iPhone and go to the home screen.
2. Tap the 'Cydia' app and go to the 'Search' section. Type in 'SMS bubbles' in the search field and touch the 'Search' button. A list of available SMS bubble modifications will come up.
3. Browse through the SMS bubble themes to see which one you like best. Some modification packages include multiple colored bubbles and backgrounds. Generally, on the theme listing page you will find an option for 'Screenshots' or 'Previews' that lets you see an image of what the theme looks like.
4. Go to the theme you want to use and tap the 'Install' button near the top right corner. Tap 'Confirm' and the installer automatically takes control of downloading the theme to your phone. You can install multiple themes and modifications without enabling them so you can have them accessible whenever you want to change your theme.
5. Tap the 'Return to Cydia' button and then exit the application by pressing the 'Home' button on your iPhone.
6. Tap the 'Settings' app on the home screen and use your finger to scroll down the page. Stop scrolling when you see the 'WinterBoard' option. Tap the button to enter the settings.
7. Tap 'Select Themes' and then select SMS bubble theme you want to use. If you installed multiple SMS themes, you can only use one at a time, so check the one you prefer. Press the 'WinterBoard' button near the top of the screen.
8. Tap the 'Respring' button at the top and give the phone a few moments to restart. Move the lockscreen slider to the right and then tap the 'Messages' app. Begin using the new theme you installed and enabled.
How to Block SMS on ATT
1. Log in to your AT&T MyWireless online account. If you do not have an online account at AT&T, you can easily register for one using your AT&T phone number. You will need to pick a password to get an account.
2. Go to the 'Message Preferences' page located within your MyWireless account by clicking on the search bar in the top right hand corner of the screen and typing in 'Message Preferences.' You will see a list of search results, including one that says 'Register for Message Preferences.' Click on that link and it will bring you to the registration page.
3. Enter your AT&T mobile number once again, along with a password to register your phone and enter the 'Message Preferences' page. The website will send you an automated text message that contains a registration number for you to enter to gain access to the Message Preferences page.
4. Enter the five-digit registration number you have received via text message into the box on the next screen, next to 'Registration Number.' Click 'Submit.' You will now be able to enter 'Message Preferences.'
5. Select the option that says 'Block' on the drop-down list next to where it says 'Mobile Number Control' on the 'Message Preferences' page. If you also want to block all text messages sent from email address, you can check that box as well. It is located above the drop-down menu.
6. Click on the button at the bottom of the page that says 'Submit' once you have finished making your changes. This will close out the 'Message Preferences' page and save any changes you have made.
How to Send a Mass Text Message
1. Select 'Send a Message' under the 'Messages' application on your phone. This will bring up the form that will allow you to type your text message.
2. Type whatever message you had in mind.
3. Select a contact. When you are done typing your message, select the first person on the list you want the message to go to. You can do this by selecting the name from your address book. Once you do, it will take you back to the message to proofread it before sending.
4. Hit the 'Contacts' button another time. This will bring back up your contacts list and allow you to select another recipient. Once you do, it will take you back to the message window again. You will have to select 'Contacts' and a name again for every individual person you want to receive this message.
5. Send your message. Once you've selected all your contacts, hit 'Send.' This will send the text message from your phone to a cell tower, and then to the phones of all the recipients you've chosen.
