How to Unlock Sanyo Phones
1. Obtain the IMEI number of your phone. The customer service rep uses this to verify that the handset is yours and it is also required to generate the unlock code. Type *#06# to display the code on the phone.
2. Call the customer service department of your wireless service provider to request the 'subsidy unlock code' of your Sanyo phone. One reason the company may provide the unlock code is if you plan to use the phone in another country and you need it unlocked to take advantage of their prepaid services.
3. Remove the battery and original SIM card from the Sanyo and insert a SIM card from a different network. Insert the battery and turn on the phone.
4. Enter the unlock code provided by the customer support to unlock the Sanyo for use on other networks.

How to Send a Failed Error in Mobile
1. Select the 'Messages' icon from the home screen of your mobile phone.
2. Scroll through the list of messages and select the failed message to open it.
3. Select the 'Menu' key and then select 'Resend.' On some mobile phones, you can select the special 'Sent Failed' icon next to the failed message to access a special menu. Select 'Resend' or 'Try Again.' Once the mobile phone is back in an area with network coverage the message will send.

How to Install Skype and Talk All Over the World for Free
Downloading and Installing Skype
1. Go to the Skype website (see the Resources section for links to download Skype for Windows, Mac and Linux users) and download the SkypeSetup.exe executable.(The software is installed under the Program Files folder in a directory called Skype, which is automatically created. A Skype Setup icon is also automatically created on your desktop.)
2. Click on the SkypeSetup icon that is on your desktop. A Skype Setup wizard then appears.You will get a warning window asking if you want to Run or Save this file: SkypeSetup.exe. Click 'Run.'Note: Another confirmation message may appear, asking if you are sure you want to run this software. Click 'Run' again.
3. Follow the instructions on the Skype Setup wizard to complete the installation of the Skype software.At the end of the installation, you will be asked to set up a Skype account.
4. A Skype window appears, and if you have never used Skype before, you have the option of creating a Skype account. You'll see a link on that window mentioning the following:'Don't have a Skype name?'Click on this link, and it opens up another 'Skype - Create a New Account' window, where you type in your full name and then type in a Skype name and a Skype password and repeat password in the respective fields on that window.Note: Jot down your Skype name and password, as you will need them every time you open the Skype application.
5. Click on the 'Sign in' button.Note: After having created your new Skype account for the first time, the next time you open Skype, your Skype name will automatically appear in the Skype name field. All you need to do is to type in your Skype password and click the 'Sign in' button.
6. Follow the instructions in the 'Getting Started' guide to add a contact, using the 'Add Contact' button; to test your headset and microphone, using the 'Skype Test Call Feature'; to set up a conference xall with a business colleague or friend; and to explore all the other features in Skype.
7. Once you have installed the Skype software, there are two ways in which you can open the Skype software application.Click on the 'Skype' icon on your desktop or double-click on the 'x' icon in your desktop's system tray to start Skype at any time.Note: Once the Skype window comes up, the 'x' checkmark then changes to a green checkmark to indicate that the Skype application is currently running on your computer. It changes back to an 'x' mark when you have 'Signed out' of Skype and Skype is no longer running on your computer.
How to Retrieve SMS Messages While the Phone Is Disconnected
1. Remove the protective cover from the back of your phone. Take out the battery and SIM card, which looks similar to a computer microchip.
2. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card reader. Make sure the metal plates face down in the reader.
3. Install the software that came with your SIM card reader. Read and accept the software agreement. Save the software to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
4. Insert the SIM card reader's USB connector into an available USB port on your computer. Wait for your computer to detect and install the drivers for the device.
5. Launch the SIM card reader software. Wait for it to detect your SIM card reader. It will retrieve the SMS message. Click on the message you want to read.
6. Click 'Archive' or 'Backup' to save the messages to the computer.

How to Send Themes to a Cell Phone

1. Go to a mobile theme downloading website such as Zedge, Emobilez or Mobile9. Click on the website's 'themes' category to browse available themes, which often are updated daily.
2. Locate the option to download directly to your PC, and click. The theme file will download to your computer. Note where your file is downloading on your computer (your desktop or a downloads folder, for example).
3. Upload the theme file to a photo-sharing site such as Photobucket. Then, choose the option to send the file to your phone.

4. Visit the mobile downloading site of your choice. Any of the previously mentioned sites are acceptable. Your cell phone carrier or the company that made your phone may offer their own download sites.
5. Find the 'themes' section of the site and browse the selections. Click on your theme of choice to reveal two options: downloading to your PC or directly to your phone.
6. Choose the option to download directly to your phone. You may be asked to provide your cell phone type and phone number, but, more likely, you will be prompted to visit a site with your phone's browser and enter a code for the theme of your choice.
