How to Send a Picture to a Cell Phone from a PC

Using PixDrop
1. Navigate to PixDrop (see link in Resources).
2. Check the box next to the recipient’s mobile carrier, such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T or Sprint.
3. Enter the person’s 10-digit phone number.
4. Click the “Browse” button to the right of the “Upload your picture” field. Navigate through your folders and select your preferred photo.
5. Click the “Send Your Picture Message” button to the send the image.
Using Text4Free
6. Navigate to the Text4Free site (see link in Resources).
7. Enter the recipient’s 10-digit phone number.
8. Click the “Scroll down for the list of providers” drop-down menu and select the person’s phone carrier.
9. Enter a brief message, which will be sent with the image. If you don’t want to include a message, skip to the next step.
10. Click the “Browse” button and upload your preferred image.
11. Enter the displayed CAPTCHA phrase and then click the “Send Message” button to send the picture to the recipient’s phone.
Using TextPort
12. Navigate to TextPort’s Free MMS Picture Messaging page (see link in Resources).
13. Enter the person’s 10-digit cellphone number in the “Send To” field and then enter your email address in the “From” field.
14. Click the “Browse” button to the right of the “File” field and select the picture you want to send.
15. Enter a brief message, which will be attached to the picture message. If you don’t want to add a message, continue to the next step.
16. Click the “Send” button to send the picture message.

Rules for Toll Free Numbers Cell Phones

Free to Call
Even though you will be calling the toll-free number from your cell phone, you will not be charged for the call. However, it does use your mobile minutes which you have allotted to you each month via contract, so if you go over your mobile minutes due to the toll-free call, you will be charged by your cell phone provider. It is probably best if you don't call a toll-free number, like a customer service number, from your cell phone but rather a land line, as there is no minute limit on those calls.
Do Not Call Registry
While most cell phone companies block 1-800 numbers from calling their customer's cell phones, there are certain telemarketing companies that find their way around these blocks and call people on their cell phones anyway. This is why it is important for people to individually register their cell phone numbers with the Do Not Call Registry, which is provided in every state and nationally by the Federal Communications Commission. This makes it illegal for telemarketers to contact you for five years after you have registered your cell phone number from their toll-free company numbers.
Toll Free Link to Cell Phone
If you have your own toll-free 1-800 number for your business, you can link it directly to your cell phone so you can answer customer calls at any time and in any place. These toll-free numbers can be set up for a reasonably inexpensive fee per month, with free technical support and the ability to use it easily with any phone. If you set up the link yourself between this toll-free number and your cell phone, there are no rules prohibiting how many times your number can be called. However, be wary of calling others who have cell phones from that number, as it may be blocked or in violation of the national Do Not Call Registry.

How to Send a Free Text Message to a Mobile Phone

1. Change your phone plan to one that includes free text messaging. Contact your phone provider to discuss your plan options.
2. Use your computer to email text messages free of charge. Enter the recipient's 10-digit phone number in place of his regular email address, followed by the name of his phone provider. For example, a Verizon customer's text-message address would follow this format: 10digitphonenumber@vtext.com. The format differs between each phone provider. Visit the All Things Marked website to find the appropriate email format for your friend's phone provider.
3. Send free text messages via AOL Instant Messenger. Access your AOL account and enter +1 followed by the appropriate 10-digit phone number. Your instant message will appear as a text message on the person's phone.
4. Sign up on websites that offer free text-messaging services, such as Google Voice. Sign up for an account and follow the instructions to send free text messages.

How to Send an SMS to Europe

1. Open the SMS messaging menu on your cellular phone.
2. Compose your message.
3. Add the recipient's mobile number to the the provided slot. To do this, you must know the entire mobile phone number of the recipient. For example, you will need the calling code, country code, regional code and then the mobile telephone number of the person you are reaching. These various numbers fluctuate from region to region.
4. Send the SMS as you regularly would.

How to Get Cheap Home Phone Service and Internet

1. Decide what services you need for your home phone and what type of service you need for an internet connection. The fewer services you require, the lower the price. If you need call waiting, call return, voicemail, caller id, local calls, long distance and other phone services, you may have to pay a little more, although you will still be able to find cheap home phone service.If you are able to use a dial up connection, you can find free internet connections, but if you need dsl, broadband, cable or wireless internet, you will have to pay more.

The cost is approximately $19.99 for the equipment and about $19.99 for the entire year. I know it is unbelievable but true. You do need an internet connections for the Magic Jack to work. If you need cheap phone bills, this is definitely the way to go. MagicJack is also great for cheap long distance calling because you can call long distance or even international for no additional cost.
4. Other Cheap Home Phone Service ProvidersContact internet based home phone service providers such as Vonage to find out what deals they have to offer. If you do use an internet based phone service such as MagicJack or Vonage, be sure to register your phone number with your local emergency services.
5. Bundle ServicesAsk your local phone company such as A T & T, Verizon or Comcast about their package deals for cable television, internet, home phone service and long distance. Most companies have great deals if available in your area. This may be the best way for you to receive cheap broadband internet.
6. Cancel Your Current Home Phone ServiceCancel your current home phone service only after you have signed up with a new cheaper service. Make sure that you ask about all of the charges that you will receive, sometimes there are additional fees, that is why MagicJack and Netzero are so appealing, there are no hidden charges with them.

How to Send Free SMS All Over India

1. Register with a free text-messaging service on the Internet that allows you to send messages to India. Three that you can use are Text4Free, SendSMSNow, and MobileMammoth. Provide the site with a user name, password and email address. You will receive a confirmation e-mail upon registration. Open up the email and click on the link.
2. Log in with the username and password that you provided during registration. You will be directed to the user dashboard.
3. Create a text message on the new message panel. Enter a phone number in the recipient field. Select India as the country and choose the mobile service provider of the recipient.
4. Type your message in the space provided. After creating your message, enter the verification code that will pop up after you click the 'Send message' link.

1. Buy a Bluetooth-enabled cellular phone. All phones now sold have this capability, which allows them to communicate wirelessly with speakers and microphones.
