How to Use MP3 SMS Tones
1. Download a message tone. Websites that offer ring tones also often offer SMS tones or there are SMS tone options available at websites like Mobiles24 or Fehers (see Resources).
2. Send the SMS tone to the phone from a computer via a text or an email. Download it to the phone. Different phones will require different download methods, but usually clicking on the tone from the email or text is enough.
3. Apply the tone to text messages. It is either applied for all text messages or used for an individual text, depending on personal preferences. Applying the tone differs between phones, but many phones have SMS tone options under the phone texting settings or options. Otherwise, look under the phone menu options and look for text settings under the phone menu. The message options should have audio options, among which is the option to set SMS tones.
How to Do A Free Reverse Phone Number Lookup
1.
Simply do a search on the internet using the phrase free reverse phone directory. The one problem with a free reverse phone number search is that they're not always free, but you can easily find a free reverse phone directory for landline numbers and avoid paying a fee. But if the number is a cell phone number then many of those incur a small fee to access informationn about the person and it can also be more difficult to get information using cell phone numbers since these are still very private. Reverse phone lookups for landlines are much easier but you might not always be able to get all the information you need for free. If you want to get more private contact information for someone, in some cases you may have to pay a fee. If it's a cell number, you should still search online for a free reverse cell phone look up and see what you can find.
2.
Find a free reverse phone number look up service and use it to stop telemarketing calls. It's much easier to do a free reverse phone number search for a business or landline because toll free numbers tend to work better. If you're getting pestering calls from someone, just do a free reverse phone look up and contact the telemarketing owner directly to make a complaint and demand an end to the calls. Another easy and free way to do your own free reverse phone number look up is to simply use the search engines yourself. You'd be surprised at the results you can get. Go on Google and enter the number in quotes to get an exact match. Everybody uses social networks like Facebook. People can add their phone number to their profile page on these sites and if they did, it will probably appear in the search results. You should try that before looking into a free reverse phone directoy.
3.
Decide if a free reverse phone number look up is going to give you the results you're looking for and if it makes more sense to pay a small fee to get what you need. As I mentioned above, a free reverse phone number search is likely to only provide you with part of the information you're looking for. To get additional information these services usually charge a fee. If you will be in need of a reverse phone number lookup frequently then search online for companies that will only charge a one-time fee for unlimited searches. This would be best for a landlord who will be frequently screening tenants or for other situations where it would be useful.

California Hands
Hands Free
In California, cell phones may not be held and used while the driver drives. A cell phone may be used only if it is used with the hands-free option. The fine for holding and using a cell phone while driving is $20 for the first infraction and $50 for subsequent incidences. Subsequent penalties may substantially increase those amounts.
Exceptions
There are exceptions in California for holding and using a cell phone while driving. Fines do not apply when a person uses a cell phone or wireless device to reach emergency services such as a health care provider, law enforcement or the fire department. Fines also do not apply to those using a cell or wireless telephone while authorized as the driver of an emergency vehicle. In addition, the law does not apply to those on private property nor, generally, to those driving a transit vehicle or school bus. Some farm vehicles and tow trucks are also exempt from the ban on cell phone use while driving.
Age Restrictions
California more tightly restricts drivers under 18 when it comes to cell phone use. Those under 18 are completely banned from using a cell phone or any other electronic hand-held device while driving, even those with hands-free options.
Primary and Secondary
For an adult California driver, holding and using a cell phone while driving is a primary offense. This means a patrolman can flag and cite you just for using the cell phone without the hands-free option. For those under 18, holding and using a cell phone while driving is a secondary offense. This means the teen driver cannot be pulled over simply for holding a cell phone and using it while driving. The police must have another, primary reason for pulling the teenage driver over, such as speeding or driving recklessly.
Dialing
California law does not ban a driver from holding and dialing a phone while driving. A cell phone driver is also allowed to use a speaker phone.
