How to Get Gmail Alerts on a Mobile
1. Determine your carrier's email extension. See Resources for a link to a full list. You can also use this to send an email as a text message to anyone with cell phone text messaging enabled.
2. Access your Gmail settings. Sign into Gmail and click the 'Settings' tab located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will bring up all settings for your email account.
3. Set up forwarding to your mobile. Select the 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' tab at the top of the settings page. Click the 'Add a Forwarding Address' button, then type in the mobile number with the extension--for example, 5129991212@txt.att.net.
4. Confirm the mobile number. A text message will arrive within a few seconds with a confirmation number. Enter this confirmation in the corresponding box below the 'Add a Forwarding Address' button. Double-check the confirmation number is correct, then press 'Enter.'
5. Add a filter. If you only want email from specific people, such as a boss or close friends, you can add filters that send only the emails you want to receive to your mobile. Click 'Add a filter' and enter your desired parameters.
How to Register to Send a Free SMS
Gmail SMS
1. Open a Gmail email account. Navigate to the Gmail website and choose 'Create an Account.' Choose a log-in name and password. Select a security question that will allow you to access your account if you forget your password. Type in the security code and sign the agreement with Gmail. Submit a mobile phone number for verification. When Gmail sends a code to your mobile phone, type it into the Gmail Web page. Log into your new Gmail account.
2. Click on the button under 'Send SMS' on the Gmail Web page's left side. Insert the cell phone number to which to send a text message. Press 'Enter' on your keyboard.
3. Insert the contact name of the recipient of the message. Press 'Enter' on the keyboard.
4. Type in your text message in the pop-up window in the Web page's lower right-hand corner. Press 'Enter.' You have now sent a free SMS.

5. Log into the ICQ home page and click 'Download.' Click 'Save File' on the pop-up window and click 'yes' when another pop-up window asks if you will allow the program to make changes on your computer. Accept the user agreement and click 'next' and again click 'next' on the installation window. When the file has downloaded, click 'finish' and restart your computer.
6. Click on the ICQ icon on your desktop. Click on 'New Register Here' to set up an ICQ account. Submit your first and last name, your email address and a password. Confirm the password and type in the security code. Retrieve the confirmation Web page from your email and click on the link to confirm. Click 'launch ICQ.'
7. Click on 'Contacts' under 'Menu' on the ICQ window. Click 'Add Contact.' Under 'Select Contact Type,' choose 'Phone Contact.'
8. Type in your contact's name and phone number and click 'Add.'
9. On the main ICQ window, click the cell phone icon to the right of the contact's name. Type in your text message and press 'Enter.' You have sent your SMS message to your contact.

10. Open the SMSIX homepage and choose the country and phone number of the person to whom you wish to send a free SMS.
11. Type in your message in the message field.
12. Click 'Step 2.' You message has sent.
How do I Install a Bluetooth in a Honda Odyssey?
1. Put the Honda Odyssey into park.
2. Press and release the hands-free talk button. This is found on the lower left-hand side of the steering wheel and is the higher-up of the two large buttons.
3. Say 'Phone Setup' after the beep.
4. Press and release the hands-free talk button again and say 'Pair' when the system tells you the commands that are available. The setup will prompt you to put the car in park. If it's not already, do this now.
5. Pair the phone with the car. The system will give you a four-digit pairing code and the radio display will read 'HANDS FREE LINK.' Make sure the Bluetooth mode on your cell phone is switched on and use it to search for a pairing. Once the phone finds the hands-free link you will need to enter the four-digit pairing code.
6. Name your phone by pressing and releasing the hands-free talk button on your steering wheel and saying the name you wish to give to your phone.
How to Send Data Wallpapers to Your Phone
1. Go to the website that has your chosen data wallpaper. If you do not have one yet, visit data wallpaper websites, such as cellphone-wallpapers.net, freemobilefun.net and mobileheart.com.
2. Click on your chosen wallpaper and let it load. Click on the link 'Send to Mobile' next to the wallpaper image.
3. Provide the size of your mobile phone screen, so the wallpaper can be cropped to suit your specific phone. If you are unsure of the size, look in your phone's user manual to find the screen size. If you do not have one, cellphone-wallpapers.net has a guide for the most common cell phone screen sizes.
4. Enter your cell phone number in the space provided, so the website knows where to send the data wallpaper.
5. Enter the name of your cell phone provider, such as Nokia or Motorola, so the sizing is correct. This may be applicable only on some websites.
6. Provide your email address, if applicable. This is necessary to confirm your decision of sending the data to your phone or provide you with a receipt if you are paying for the wallpaper.
7. Open the MMS you will receive from the website. This is a text message with a picture file included. Open the image as this is your wallpaper.
8. Click the 'Options' setting on your cell phone, while the picture is highlighted. Select the 'Set as Wallpaper' option and click 'OK.' Close the menu and the picture is now your cell phone wallpaper.
How to Send a Picture From a Computer to a T
1. Log into your email account. Any email service will work. If you do not have an email account you must create one before proceeding to the next step. Free email services are offered through hosts such as Yahoo! and Gmail and they only take a few minutes to activate.
2. Create a new message. Click the 'New' or 'Compose' button as you would to create any new email.
3. Attach the picture you would like to send to the T-Mobile cell phone. You will attach the picture by clicking the 'Attach' button and choosing the right photo from your computer.
4. Write a message or caption in the message field, as you would a regular email message. This step is optional; you do not have to include a message for the picture to be sent properly.
5. Decide which email address to use for sending the picture. You can either send the picture to the T-Mobile cell phone as a text message or to the recipient's email account, if the cellular user has email access on his phone. To send the picture as a text message you will use the cell phone's email address which is the 10-digit wireless phone number at tmomail.net, according to T-Mobile. For example/ the phone number 123-456-7890 would have a corresponding email address of 1234567890@tmomail.net.

1. Locate a website that allows you to send free SMS messages internationally. Three options are listed in the Resources section below.
2. Enter the destination country code, phone number and message.
3. Click 'Send' to send the message immediately. Depending on the service used, you may have to register to send the message.
How to Download Free Samsung MP3 Music
1. Compose a new e-mail message. Type your Samsung’s 10-digit cell phone number into the “To” field followed by your cell phone service provider’s text messaging extension (e.g. xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.sprintpcs.com).
2. Click the 'Attach' button and then double-click on any MP3 music files on your hard drive to upload it to your e-mail message. Click the 'Send' button to send the e-mail message to your Samsung cell; the phone will receive it as a text message.
3. Open your Samsung cell phone and press the “OK” button to view the new text message. Then press the right soft key to access the “Options” menu and press the down arrow to scroll to “Save as Sound.” Press the “OK” button to save the MP3 music file to your cell phone as a sound.
