How to Create Free Mobile Themes
1. Access the website for the Phone Themes Studio Toolkit. This program helps you create themes for Nokia Series 60, Windows Mobile PocketPC and Windows Mobile SmartPhone devices.
2. Download the Phone Themes Studios Toolkit to your computer (see References). Choose which program you wish to install, as there are different programs for the three phone brands. The downloads are free, and are considered applications. Once the Phone Themes Studios Toolkit is downloaded, you can create free mobile themes for use on your own phone.
3. Access the Zedge website (see References) to create or use free mobile themes. Zedge is a bit different in that you chose an already made icon, and then add preselected features such as icons and sounds. Zedge works with most phones that have Bluetooth capability, or you can transfer from computer to cell phone.
4. Create your free mobile themes using Own Skin (see References). The website offers programs for a number of cellphone brands and allows you to select your own theme and background, and to personalize them.
How to Call Toll
1. Turn on your cell phone.
2. Type in the toll-free number into the number pad. Most cell-phone providers do not require you to input a 1 before you dial a long-distance number, but if the call fails for any reason, retry with a 1 preceding the 10-digit toll-free number.
3. Press the call button on your cell phone to initiate the call.

How to Send SMS to Pakistan
1. Look for an online service for sending text messages to Pakistan. Some good services are VergeSMS, Muskurahat and SMSPK. These services are free of charge as of 2010.
2. Go to VergeSMS and select the mobile service provider you are sending the text to. Enter the phone number and type your message. You can write up to 160 characters. Click 'Send Message' and the message will be sent to the phone number you entered.
3. Use Muskurahat. Select the mobile service provider that you are sending your text to from the drop-down box. Type in the phone number of the recipient. Type a message of up to 142 characters. Enter the security code and click 'Send SMS.'
4. Go to SMSPK and enter your name, your email address and your city. Select the category of the text message you wish to send. Christmas, anniversary and birthday are just a few of the choices you have. Enter the title of your text message, then write your message and click the 'Submit' button. This will take you to another page where you can enter the phone number and country code of the recipient. Click 'Submit' and your message will be sent.
How to Change the SMS Text Option From GSM to GPRS
1. Switch on your mobile handset. From the main screen, select the 'Menu' key.
2. Select the 'Messaging' option, or whatever the text messaging option is on your phone.
3. Choose 'Options' and select the 'Settings.'
4. Select 'Text Message' at the 'Setting' option screen and navigate to 'Preferred Connection' or a similar option, depending on the type of phone you use.
5. Select the 'GPRS' option to change your current SMS messaging option from GSM to GPRS.
States Which Require Hands
All Phone Bans
There is currently no state that prohibits all of its drivers from using a cell phone and hands-free device while driving. However, there are certain groups of people that all cell phone use is prohibited for: novice drivers and school bus drivers. Novice drivers are banned in 28 states and Washington, D.C., and 18 states and Washington, D.C., prohibit school bus drivers from using a cell phone while they have passengers on the bus.
Hand-held Bans
As of 2010, there are eight states--California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington--that have laws prohibiting all drivers from using hand-held cell phones while driving a vehicle. Washington, D.C., and the Virgin Islands also prohibit using hand-held devices while driving. However, in Maryland, an officer may pull you over and cite you for using your cell phone while driving even if you have not committed another offense. Using a hands-free device may be beneficial if you reside in one of these states.
Text Messaging Bans
Text messaging while driving in 30 states, Guam and Washington, D.C., is prohibited for all drivers. As of 2010, 11 of these 30 states enacted these laws. In addition, 10 other states prohibit novice and school bus drivers from text messaging while driving.

How to Retrieve SMS Messages Online
1. Log on to your computer.
2. Open your favorite online chat/SMS messaging software. Google Chat, Yahoo! Mail and AIM are three services that allow you to send and receive SMS text messages online in addition to chatting live with your contacts.
3. Send and receive your SMS text messages by following the directions the chat/SMS software provides. For example, Google Chat's SMS feature (after enabling it in Google Labs) is located on the left side in your Gmail browser. Yahoo! also allows you to send and receive SMS text messages through its 'Mail' feature (Select 'New' and then 'Text Message (SMS)' to get started). Using AIM Express, click the page icon to the left of 'Buddies > New IM,' type the user name or phone number and then click 'IM' to send; retrieve SMS messages from your contacts via your 'Lifestream.'
How to Send a Free Picture Text Message
1. Look for a website that offers free MMS services. Some sites include: SMSFree4All.com, SeaSMS.com, and Text4Free.net. As of September 2010, these sites are free of charge, but may require registration.
2. Register on the site with the required details. If a confirmation email is required, confirm the email before proceeding to the next step.
3. Enter the site and log in. Once logged in, type the phone number of the individual who you wish to send an MMS message.
4. In the location field, select the country in the drop-down menu, and select the recipient's mobile network.
5. Type the message that you want to send. It can only contain 140 characters--that is the limit for sending MMS messages.
6. Click on the 'Upload' button. Locate the picture that you would like to send and click on the 'Open' button.Wait for it to upload. There is a limit of 500 kb.
7. Press 'Send' and enter the verification code. You have now sent a picture and text message.
