1. Go to Google's Latitude website, www.google.com/latitude, and log into your Google account.
2. Enter your cell phone number in the box that says, 'Enter your number or visit google.com/latitiude on your mobile browser.' Press the 'Send a link to my phone' button; you will receive a text message with a link to a website inviting the cell phone user to accept latitude.
3. Follow the link on your cell phone's web browser to go to Google's latitude website. Note that cell phone providers may charge additional fees for using mobile web; this will not work without mobile web. If you are tracking a friend's phone, they will also have to complete steps three and four.
4. Allow Google to use your current location. Select 'Yes' when the dialog box appears that says, 'Allow Google Latitude to view your current location.'
5. Follow the cell phone. An image displaying the cell phone location will appear on the Google Earth map for the computer that initiated the latitude request. As long as the cell phone remains connected to the latitude website, Google will follow the cell phone. Note that locations are only displayed if the cell phone users chose to share their location with their friends.

How to Unlock Your Sony Ericsson Phone for Free

1. Type *#06# on your cell phone. Jot down the number that appears on your cell phone screen called the IMEI number.
2. Call your network provider and ask it for the code to unlock your SIM card. Provide the employee with whom you speak with your IMEI code. This enables the company to send you the code to unlock your SIM card via email.
3. Remove your battery cover from the rear portion of your Sony Ericsson. Take out your SIM card. Put in a SIM that comes from a different cell phone company and put your battery cover back on.

1. Go to the website Wakerupper (see Resources).
2. Click 'Create Account.'
3. Enter a user name, password, phone number, email address, timezone, security code and more details required for creating your account. Once you're done, go to the main page of the website.
4. Fill out the form for getting free personalized audio wake up calls. Specify the time at which you want to wake up. Also, enter your phone number and enter the personalized message in the message box. This message will be included in your reminder call.
5. Enter the security letters, and click 'I accept, schedule my call.'
iPing
6. Go to the website iPing (see Resources).
7. Click 'Sign Up' and enter the required information such as user name, password, phone number, email address, zip code, country and timezone.
8. Go to the home page after signing up and schedule your free wake up call. Enter the message you want to be included in the call and specify the time at which you want to be phoned. Confirm the time and message, and enter the security code on the page. Then have a good night's sleep.

10. Click 'Sign Up' and enter your user name, password, email address and other required details.

How Do I Request a Phone Book?

1. Go online to Yellowbook.com.
2. Go to 'Products' on the left hand side of the page and select order a directory.
3. Fill out all required fields. Required fields are indicated with a red * next to each request.
4. At the bottom of the request form, tick whether you are interested in advertising as well.
5. Call 1-(800)-YB-YELLOW to request a phone directory if you don't have the internet.

How to Send Free Text Messages to Mobile Devices

1. Log onto text4free.net and hit the enter key.
2. In the first box enter the number of the device that you wish to send a message to and the network provider. A link here can help you find the recipient's provider if you are unaware of it.
3. In the second box, enter the text of the message you want to send. This can be up to a maximum of 140 characters and it is a good idea to include your name and number so the recipient can contact you.
4. Enter the number of text messages you would like to send. It is possible through this service to send messages to multiple recipients. So if you have three recipients then you will be sending three messages.
5. Attach a picture, graphic or audio file--this option is only available on some networks.
6. Enter the security verification code in the final box and click on the 'Send Message' link. Your message will now be sent to the recipient's mobile device.

How to Send Free SMS Via Computer

1. Visit an online SMS messaging provider's site. There are a variety to choose from including txtDrop, txt4free and service providers like AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. Most phone service providers offer a free SMS messaging service on their website. All online SMS providers follow more or less the exact same format for submitting SMS messages.
2. Enter the 'Phone Number' of the recipient. Enter your 'Email Address' or 'Cell Phone Number' (this is not required by all sites). Enter your message in the 'Message' box. Try to keep the message short (under 150 characters) as some service providers will not deliver longer messages. Review the information.
3. Click 'Send.' The SMS message will be sent. Depending on the service the message was sent through, the user may be able to message back via email or SMS. The message should be instantly delivered.

How to Put Games on a Cell Phone

1. Determine the mobile operating system your device is using. The top OS choices currently include iPhone, Google Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Blackberry. If you're device does not use one of these options, it is probably some form of 'propietary software' that will require specialized download software that is installed on your device for use with your carrier.
2. Visit the Apple Apps store if you are an iPhone user. The Apps store can be found on your device and you will simply search for games, find the game you want to purchase and download it to your device.
3. Visit popular software sites if you are using Blackberry, Windows Mobile or Symbian. We recommend Handango and Mobihand since they are two of the more trusted mobile software sites. Choose your device from the list of manufacturers and then choose the program you want to install. You can find mobile games by clicking on the 'Games' link on either site. In most cases you will simply download the application onto your device from your mobile phone's browser and then click on the single install file to install the game. If the game requires a special installation process or certain device hardware and software requirement, you will receive a 'readme' file with the game. Follow those directions. You can also download the games to your PC and then sync your device with your USB cable and transfer the games onto your device. Your device's user's manual will give you directions for syncing based on your specific phones requirements.
4. Check with your cellular provider if your phone does not include a popular operating system or if your device is locked to a specific carrier. They will more than likely have their own application stores which will include games.
