Turn your cell phone's Bluetooth function on. Of course, every cell phone is different, but the steps to doing this are almost always the same. Locate the settings folder on your phone and click on it. The Bluetooth function will be listed within the settings folder. On some phones, such as the iPhone, the Bluetooth function is in a sub-folder within the settings folder. In the iPhone's case, the sub-folder is labeled 'General'. Once the Bluetooth function is listed, click on it. Your phone will give you the option of turning Bluetooth on. Opt to turn it on.

Perform a Bluetooth device discovery on your cell phone. Some cell phones perform this search automatically when the function is turned on. If not, the option to search for Bluetooth devices will appear. Click 'Search,' and it will start searching for any Bluetooth devices within its range. When the search is complete, the name of your Bluetooth device will appear on your cell phone screen and it will ask you to confirm that it pairs with the device. Confirm by pressing 'Yes' or 'OK'. How to Get Free Ringtones for Prepaid Cell Phones


1. Visit a ringtone service website that you are familiar with and you know is free and secure (see References). Reference your phone's user manual to verify its ringtone hosting and downloading capabilities. Each phone varies by model and make, not by the prepaid service.
2. Browse the ringtone website categories to find the ringtone media you'd like to use for your phone's default ringtone. You can also search for specific ringtones by using the website's search bar if there is one available.
3. Scroll through the results from your category selection or search input. Select the sound file or song you want to set as your ringtone to view its official page.
4. Enter your cell phone number on the ringtone's page to have it sent to your phone via SMS text messaging. You will receive your ringtone within moments from the website.
5. Open the SMS text message from the ringtone service website to download the ringtone file. Download and save the ringtone to your phone.
6. Go to your phone's settings and tools and open the sound settings and ringtone settings. Scroll through the list of your available ringtones and find your newly downloaded ringtone. Select this ringtone and click 'Save' to set it as your phone's default ringtone.

1. Try using free mobile eCard services from websites such as IMinvited, Vodafonegreetings and M-Cards that allow you to send free mobile eCards to anyone's mobile device, including countries outside of the U.S. However, some mobile eCard services may ask you to create an account with them before you can send a mobile eCard from their website.
2. Click the 'Register' button near the top of the web page if needed, and only if you trust the website. Fill in the required information on the registration page to set up an account with the mobile eCard service; usually you will have to at least create a user name and password. Then check your email for a notification from the mobile eCard service confirming your registration.
3. Click on the hyperlink to choose a category of card that you want to preview on the web page. You will be directed to another web page with several eCard backgrounds displayed on it.
4. Preview the list of eCards on the web page, and select one that you want to send to someone. Many mobile eCard services will let you add a personalized message to your eCard greeting.
5. Send the mobile eCard greeting to your recipient by following the website's instructions. Depending on how the website is set up, you may be prompted to compose a SMS message and copy the URL address that is shown on the web page, or you may be instructed to enter some information about the sender and recipient in a brief form.
6. Enter all of the required information into the form. Type your name in the 'Sender' field box. If you want to add a personalized message, type your information in the 'Message' field box. Select the country where the recipient is located if this option is available. Next, type the recipient's mobile phone number in the 'Receiver's Mobile Number' or 'Recipients' field box.
7. Check the appropriate box to send the MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) in an email message or a SMS notification, if necessary. Keep in mind that these options may not be available on all mobile eCard websites.
8. Press the 'Send' or 'Submit' button when you're done. Within a few minutes, your recipient can retrieve the eCard greeting from their mobile inbox.

How to Trace a U.K. Phone Number


1. Write down the U.K. phone number that you want to trace. Make sure you provide the 3-digit area code; otherwise, the search will be invalid. You may need to enter the country code, which is +44 for the U.K. on some search databases.
2. Perform a free reverse phone number lookup by clicking the Free Reverse Phone Book Lookups link in Resources. This service that lets you search information using phone numbers in the U.K. If the phone number cannot traced from these directories, go to Step 3.
3. Go to the UK Phone Number Database Hub (link in Resources). This is a paid telephone directory that allows you to trace people through reverse phone number lookup. When you open the page, you will see an empty field that says 'Phone number.' Enter the number along with the area code. Use spaces for separating the area code from the phone number. Click 'Submit.' If the database contains this number, it will show you 'Available.' Now check the box next to 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions', and click the button 'Access Phone Number Database.' You will then be asked for a small fee for your membership, after which the results are shown.
4. Use the U.K. Telephone Code Locator (link in Resources). On this website, you can enter a telephone number, ae of a location or exchange names. The search results will show you the area of the phone number, its map location, British Telecom charge information, and exchange names nearby. Using the code and map location, you can further investigate the person.
5. Use the contact information obtained by the UK Telephone Code Locator in the British Telecom Phone Book (see Resources). Enter the post code along with the location, and you will see a number of results that should include information you're trying to trace as well.

How to Send an SMS With AOL


1. Open the AIM or AOL software on your computer, and log into your account.
2. Click 'IM' on your Buddy List to open a new instant message.
3. Enter the phone number of the cell phone that you would like to send text messages to in the field labeled 'Email Address.' Before the phone number, add '+1'. For example, if the phone number that you would like to send an SMS message to is '407-555-1234,' enter '+14075551234'.
4. Enter the message that you would like to send via SMS message, and click 'Send' to send the message.
