How to Call Another Country for Free

1. Get the number ready, pick up the phone and dial the country exit code. In the United States, the exit code is 011. Freephone Numbers begin with 800. From the United States, you would dial, 011-800-XXX-XXXX.
2. Sign up for service with Sipbroker, Voipbuster or Skype for other options for free international calls. These services have their own standards for toll-free phone calls. Skype, for example, has its own way of dialing international calls. For Skype, type the country code and then the number after the plus sign.
3. Purchase an international calling card. The calling cards can be used to make free international calls. Access the closest toll-free access number listed on the card. Dial the number and you will be asked for a PIN number. The PIN number will be on the back of the card. Input your PIN number and then you can dial toll-free numbers. For the United States, dial 1, (the country code) and then the toll free number. If you are in the United States, you have to add the exit code (011) to the beginning of the phone number.
4. Dial a regular phone number internationally without paying for it by makeing a collect call. Call an operator in the country you are calling from with the number you want to call. The operator will contact the person you wish to call and let you know if he accepts the collect call, which means he will pay for the charges.

How to Create a SMS Chat Online Website

1. Launch your FTP client (e.g., Cyberduck on a Mac or Fetch on a PC) and connect to your website server to enable you to upload content to your website. If you are unsure of how to connect to your server (i.e., your login name and password), contact the customer care department at your web host company.
2. Download the piece of code necessary to embed an SMS chat system on your online website. Various companies offer free, hosted web-based SMS applications that allow your visitors to send SMS messages directly from your website. One of the easiest to install is smsGeezer, which installs the SMS chat network in an iFrame for easy integration with the rest of your website. Download the iFrame SMS code from the smsGeezer website (see Resources below).
3. Double-click the text file you downloaded in Step 2. Highlight all of the code and copy it by pressing 'Ctrl+C' on your keyboard. Paste it ('Ctrl+V') into your website's HTML code where you would like the SMS chat to appear on your website.
4. Upload the modified HTML file by dragging it to your FTP client and uploading it to your online server, replacing the old file that was previously online.
5. Access your website and check that the SMS web chat shows up on your page. Because the SMS chat is installed in an iFrame, it is embedded directly into your page and it will not attract your visitors away from your website.

How to Boost a T

1. Measure out 8 inches of the insulated wire. This wire you can get from a nearby electronic shop or a hardware shop. Measure off 2 inches of the wire and bend it into a right angle.
2. Wrap the wire around the pen five times, starting from the point where the wire was bent.
3. Pull the pen out from the loops. Gently pull apart the loops from one another until the distance between loops is about 1 inch.
4. Measure and bend 1 inch from the long end of the wire. Strip off the vinyl insulation ½ inch from the end using the stripping device on the wire cutters.
5. Remove the rubber plug from the external antenna cover on the back of your mobile phone. Insert the stripped end of the wire into it and tape it so that it stays in place. You should see a two-to-three-bar increase in reception.
6. Note that not all phones have an external antenna hole. If your phone doesn't, then simply tape the copper wire to the back of the phone near the top.

How to Send SMS Birthday Wishes

1. Open your contacts up and select the person you want to send an SMS to. Press the option 'send message' to begin your SMS. Alternately, if you recently received an SMS from the person, click 'reply' on a previous message.
2. Decide what type of birthday wishes you want to send them. A quick 'happy birthday' may suffice for a work colleague but not for a parent or partner for whom you have forgotten to buy a card.
3. Write your message. Try to make it personal. If they are having a party later on that evening tell them to have a great time or that you are looking forward to seeing them tonight.
4. Look in old greetings card for inspiration if you are struggling with what to write. You may find an old poem that you would like to send in an SMS. Alternatively, devise your own brief poem wishing the recipient happy birthday.
5. Click 'Insert' to add an image or photograph. If you have images on your cell phone, send a birthday cake or party hat. Alternatively, you may have an old birthday photograph or related image that you wish to send along with the text.
6. Check your text message to see if the spelling is correct and you are happy with what it says. SMS messages can sometimes be interpreted differently because you cannot hear the emotion in the sender's voice, so it is always a good idea to double check what you have written.
7. Click send. Your SMS should reach the recipients' cell phone immediately.

How to Make Calls to Cell Phones Online

1. Choose a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) service that will allow you to make calls over the Internet. There are several to consider, including Skype, MediaRingTalk, and Jaxtr. While these services are free, each has its advantages and disadvantages.
2. Try Skype. This is one of the most popular VOIP software programs, with over 400 million users worldwide. Although calling cell phones and landlines isn't free, as of 2010 you could make international calls for only 2.5 cents per minute. You can make free calls to other PC users who have Skype installed. Skype allows you to do video conferencing, and the program can also be installed on your mobile phone.
3. MediaRingTalk is another software application that installs on your PC. The main difference from Skype is that PC calls are free to both landlines and mobile phones if the calls are to the U.S., Australia, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan, the U.K. or Canada. Calls from PC to PC are free anywhere in the world for MediaRingTalk users. In exchange, you will have to view some advertising on the application's screen.
4. Jaxtr is a free program that gives you the advantages of making phone calls online using VOIP without the need to connect to a computer or download software. Jaxtr works by using your home or mobile phone to place a call to a local Jaxtr number in any of 50 countries. Next, you input the number you wish to call. The Jaxtr servers will connect you for free. So, you are still making a call online but without the inconvenience of having to download, install and log in to a software application.
