How Do You Enable Javascript on a Phone?
How to Enable Javascript On an iPhone
1. Press the Home button to go back to the home screen. Click on 'Settings.'
2. Click the icon of your primary browser. For most iPhone users, this should be Safari, though the Opera app is popular as well. Slide the Javascript toggle.
3. Press the Home button again and open a new browser page. Test your new settings on a Web page that requires Javascript.
How to Enable Javascript on Blackberry
4. Open a new browser page and click the trackwheel. Select 'Options.'
5. Click on 'Browser Configuration.' You should see a box with the label 'Support Javascript.' Click on this box to check it off.
6. Click the trackwheel to return to the Options menu. Click 'Save Options.'
How to Enable Javascript On Other Popular Phones
7. If you have a Windows Mobile phone, download a version of the Opera browser. According to Microsoft, since the default browser for Windows Mobile phones, Internet Explorer, can run only a small subset of Javascript functions, you will need a new browser to run most Javascript applications. A writer at Boutell.com suggests that you download Opera's free browser, use it to open up a new Web page and then click on the 'Tools' tab. Open the 'Quick Preferences' menu and check the 'Enable Javascript' box.
8. If you're an Android user, open up the 'Options' menu and search for the 'Set Javascript Enabled' prompt. By default, it should be enabled; if it isn't, set it to 'True.'
9. If you use another smartphone, enter the preferences menu of your browser and search for the Javascript option. Older phones--especially phones sold before the advent of 3G networks--may not support the language. If your phone does not support Flash or Java, there's a good chance that it doesn't have the processing power to support Javascript.
