How to Send A Free Text Message To ATT Using Hotmail

1. Log in to your Hotmail account. If you do not have a Hotmail account you can get a free account at hotmail.com. In order to send a free text message to an AT&T customer you will need to log in and compose a new email as you normally would.
2. Instead of typing in a typical email address, you will type in the persons phone number and then @txt.att.net. For example if you are calling someone with a 543-543-5432 phone number it will look like this: 5435435432@txt.att.net
3. Now you will type in your message and click send. Just remember to leave them your name at the bottom of the message so they know who it is. Sending a text message to an AT&T number is completely free.
