How to Send Free Large Text Messages Online
1. Navigate to your online email provider and sign in to your account.
2. Open a new email. In the 'To' field of the message, enter the text message email address of the person you're sending to. Use the person's ten-digit cell phone number for the first part of the address and the SMS gateway extension for the second part. For example, if you were sending to someone who's provider was AT&T, the address might look like this: 5555555555@txt.att.net.
3. Write your message in the body of the email. If your message contains more than 160 characters, it will send it in multiple messages to the recipient.

How to Activate Hands
1. Plug your wired headset into the headphone port on your Nortel phone. When plugged in, a wired headset is essentially activated. Press the hands-free button on your phone in order to make or answer calls using the headset.

How to Email Ringtones to a Verizon Wireless Phone
1. Log onto your email account. You can use any email account to do this.
2. Enter the phone number as the recipient of the email. Don't put in any spaces or hyphens; the numbers should run together, such as 1234567890. You must put the entire phone number in, or the email will not work.
3. End the email address with '@vzwpix.com.' This will send the email as if the ringtone were a picture message. The email address with the above phone number, then, would read '1234567890@vzwpix.com.'
4. Browse your computer for the ringtone you want to send to the Verizon Wireless number. Once you've found the song, attach it in the email.
5. Send the email to the phone. It should take no more than five to 10 minutes for the phone to receive the message. If the phone does not receive the message in that time, resend the email.
6. Open the message on the phone and select 'Options.'
