How to Have a Three
1. Log in to your Skype account from a laptop or desktop computer. If you do not have an account, you can download the free Skype software from Skype.com and register for a user name and password. At this time, conference calls must be initiated from computers. Although smart-phone users with the Skype application can participate in free conference calling, they cannot initiate the call. Once logged in, you will need to setup a conference call group from your list of contacts.
2. Click on 'New' in your contacts list. You will be given the option to add a new contact or add a new group conversation. Select 'New group conversation,' and a window will appear on the upper-right side of your Skype window. If your contacts are already located in your contact list, you can simply click and drag your desired contacts into the group window. If the intended conference call members are not in your contact list, you will need to manually add them before creating the group conversation.
3. Click on 'New' again to add new contacts. At this point, you can search for contacts by user name, email address or other sortable fields. Once all conference call participants are entered in your contact list and dragged into the conference call window, click on 'Call group,' which is located just below the conference call window. This will make a simultaneous Skype phone call to all members in the conference call group. As members accept the call, you will be notified through your Skype notification window.
4. An alternative way to complete the conference call is to use a chain method: Begin by making a single Skype phone call to one member on your contact list. Once this connection is made, you will be given an option to add a new user to the call. By adding another user to the phone call, you can start your phone call with just two members of the group and avoid having to create a conference call group. As members become available, individually add those members to the conference call. This method is not as efficient as creating a group conference call, but is just as effective.

Ways to Send Free SMS
Sending Through Email
Online free SMS services often use email to send the free SMS to the phone or email address of the recipient. The service works by filling in the recipient email address or phone number and then typing the short message and pressing send. The sender uses an online website through a computer to send the message from the service. There are a few free services available through the website that allow free SMS sending such as Teleflip.com.
Sending Through Instant Messengers
Instant messengers, such as AIM, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger, are a free way to send SMS from a computer to a phone. These work by opening a new message box without the contact entered. Instead of an IM name, type in the phone number with area code in the contact name. Type the message and press 'Send' and the recipient will get the message.
Message Sending Websites
There are websites available, such as txtdrop.com, designed for sending free SMS messages. These services use advertisement to pay for the messages so that the user can send free SMS messages. Type in a personal email, the phone number of the recipient and the message and send the text to their phone. Some websites have conditions, such as a maximum word count or maximum number of SMS messages a day.
Personal Phone Service
Many phone services offer free text messaging or a specific number of free text messages a month. Conditions usually apply, such as services provided under a plan that works with specific phones rather than specific services, but there are options for free SMS through a cell phone provider.
