How to Get a Free ATT Phone

1. Sign up for a two-year contract. AT&T offers select phones for free if you sign up for a two-year contract.
2. Buy two phones. During promotional periods AT&T often gives you a free phone when you purchase one. This is helpful if you and a family member want to buy a mobile phone at the same time.
3. Sign up for a family plan. This is if you have multiple individuals in your family that want a mobile phone. Purchasing a separate contract for each individual is costly. With a family plan you are able to obtain certain mobile phones for free (this generally does not cover iPhones, Droids and other smartphones).

How to Have a Three

1. Log in to your Skype account from a laptop or desktop computer. If you do not have an account, you can download the free Skype software from Skype.com and register for a user name and password. At this time, conference calls must be initiated from computers. Although smart-phone users with the Skype application can participate in free conference calling, they cannot initiate the call. Once logged in, you will need to setup a conference call group from your list of contacts.
2. Click on 'New' in your contacts list. You will be given the option to add a new contact or add a new group conversation. Select 'New group conversation,' and a window will appear on the upper-right side of your Skype window. If your contacts are already located in your contact list, you can simply click and drag your desired contacts into the group window. If the intended conference call members are not in your contact list, you will need to manually add them before creating the group conversation.
3. Click on 'New' again to add new contacts. At this point, you can search for contacts by user name, email address or other sortable fields. Once all conference call participants are entered in your contact list and dragged into the conference call window, click on 'Call group,' which is located just below the conference call window. This will make a simultaneous Skype phone call to all members in the conference call group. As members accept the call, you will be notified through your Skype notification window.
4. An alternative way to complete the conference call is to use a chain method: Begin by making a single Skype phone call to one member on your contact list. Once this connection is made, you will be given an option to add a new user to the call. By adding another user to the phone call, you can start your phone call with just two members of the group and avoid having to create a conference call group. As members become available, individually add those members to the conference call. This method is not as efficient as creating a group conference call, but is just as effective.

How to Flash a Cell Phone for Free

1. Download a free software flash program to your computer. You want to make sure before you download that the software is compatible with your operating system, such as Windows 7; otherwise, the software will not work. The software will come with all the required files and reprogramming tools to flash the phone.
2. Right-click on the zip file you downloaded and select the option for 'Unzip' to unpack the files from the zip folder. Save them to your desktop.
3. Hook up your cell phone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your phone.
4. Read the user's manual that comes with your software, usually a 'Read Me' text file that will detail how to use the software. User instructions vary according to flash programs; therefore, it is important to know what steps to take and when, in order to complete the flash process. The flash procedure will disable your current provider's settings and reprogram them to your new provider.
5. Click your 'Start' button once your flash procedure completes, then go to 'My Computer' and select 'Systems Task.' Click on the option for 'View System Information.' Select the 'Hardware' tab and click on 'Device Manager.' Click on 'USB Controllers and Ports' to view your cell phone and make sure your new provider shows up as evidence of a successful flash.
