4. Keep your SMS and MMS messages with SMS Backup +. This application allows you to back up your SMS and MMS messages. You can also restore your SMS messages, but restoring MMS is not supported yet. You can schedule backups using Google calenders, but SMS Backup + saves onto your SD card and does not send the backup as an email to your Gmail account.

10. Click the 'Player' hyperlink to return to your music locker. Locate your song in the music locker. Right-click the song and select 'Send To Mobile.' Type the recipient's cell phone number and click 'Send.'

11. Open your Google mail account and select the 'Compose Message' button. Type the cell phone number in the specified carrier format (See Resources) in the 'To' field. For example, if the cell phone provider is AT&T, the number would be formatted like this: '1234567890@ txt.att.net.'
12. Type your message in the body of the message. Click the 'Attach' link to add the music file. Browse your files and locate the music file. Click the file and select 'Open.'
13. Send the text message by clicking the 'Send' button.
