How to Send Free Text Messages to U.S. Cellular Phones

1. Visit the U.S. Cellular text message website.
2. Enter the recipient's phone number in the 'To' field. This should be the customer's 10-digit phone number (area code + phone number).
3. Enter the your own U.S. Cellular number in the 'From' field. This should be the your 10-digit phone number (area code + phone number).
4. Type in your text message in the 'Message' field. This message cannot be more than 132 characters. You can see the remaining number of characters in the 'characters remaining' box below the message box.
5. Click 'Urgent' if you would like the message marked in that manner. Enter the security code exactly as shown and then click 'I accept' after you have read the site's terms and conditions.
6. Click 'Send' to complete the text message. Click 'Cancel' to abort the entire process.
