How to Send an MMS Text
Send MMS From a Cell Phone
1. Access the messaging menu on your cell phone. This will be located in different places on different phone models, but it should be located on your application list or under the main menu.
2. Create a new message. Some phone models, like the BlackBerry, differentiate between MMS and SMS messages, so you want to choose the MMS message. Other phones use the same interface to send MMS and SMS messages, so you will only have one option.
3. Enter the MMS message recipient's phone number in the space provided for you. Then enter in any text message you want to include with the media.
4. Select the 'Attach' button or icon. This may look like a paperclip, a camera or some other similar kind of icon. Some phones may have you enter a menu where you will choose the 'Attach' option. Select the media on the device that you want to send, and then press 'Send.' Some phones also have the option of taking a new picture, which will bring up the camera and allow you to take a snapshot.
Send MMS From a Website
5. Visit a website that offers free MMS services --- like PixDrop.com, Seasms.com or Text4Free.net.
6. Enter in the phone number of the recipient and choose the mobile carrier for the recipient. The mobile carrier is the company that provides the recipient's service, like AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.
7. Use the 'Browse' button to search your computer for the picture or audio file you wish to send. All three free websites require that the file be under 5 MB. In the Seasms.com website, the browse button is in the left column, a little above the rest of the message information, so it is a little difficult to find.
8. Type in any text message that you wish to send with the file. PixDrop.com does not offer the ability to add a text message to the MMS.
9. Press 'Send' to send the message. Text4Free.net will require you to enter a five-digit number that it populates on the screen in order to send the message.
