How to Unlock a Nokia 6822 for Free

1. Key in '*#06#' from your Nokia 6822 phone and wait for the international mobile equipment identifier (IMEI) number to appear on the screen. Write this number down.
2. Contact your wireless provider. Ask the operator to provide you with the unlock code for your phone.
3. Provide the operator with the IMEI number for your phone. Write the unlock code down, when told to do so.
4. Turn off your Nokia 6822 phone. Flip the phone around. Remove the battery and locate the SIM card slot. Remove the SIM card. Reinsert the battery and turn the device back on.
