How to Find Free Legal Advice
1. Use a law website. The Law Guru and The Law websites have legal research and attorneys online to give out free legal advice.
2. Email or call an attorney. Find an attorney's email or phone number online and pose your legal query to them. They may reply with a quick response instead of having you come in for a legal consultation.
3. Check online forums. Law forums, like the ones found on World Law Direct, allow users to discuss their legal problems with lawyers throughout the country.
4. Go in for a free consultation with a lawyer. Before a lawyer requires a retainer, they may offer a chance for you to come in at no cost to see whether or not you have a case.
5. Look through law books. Go to the library and ask the librarian to direct you to the section of law books. Look through current editions to find information on your legal problem.
