How to Get a New Replacement Sprint Cell Phone


1. Contact Sprint's customer service team at 888-211-4727. The call should be placed from a land line or other mobile phone.
2. Enter your 10-digit Sprint mobile number when prompted. Confirm your selection by pressing the '1' key. If you need to re-enter the number, press '2.' Press the option to speak to a customer service representative.
3. Provide the customer service representative with your account password or the answer to the account's secret question. If you are unable to remember the password or secret question, provide the representative with the last four digits of the account holder's Social Security number.
4. Inform the customer service representative that you need a new replacement mobile phone. You will need to explain the reason for the replacement. The representative may attempt to troubleshoot the phone.
5. Write down the confirmation number for your replacement phone. The phone will be mailed to you in 24 to 48 hours.
6. Wait for the replacement phone to arrive. Remove the battery from your old phone.
7. Place the old phone in the return envelope. Place the battery from the old phone in the new phone.
8. Affix the return shipping label on the envelope. The label is included with the packaging for the new phone.
9. Mail the old phone in the return envelope to Sprint. You do not need to add any postage to the envelope.
