Canceling Facebook SMS
1. Compose a new text message to Facebook on your mobile phone. The phone number for Facebook is specific to your phone and was given to you when you signed up for SMS notifications. This is the same number you are able to text to update your Facebook status.
2. Send a text saying only the word 'Off' (without quotation marks) to Facebook.
3. You will receive a final text message from Facebook letting you know SMS notifications have been canceled.
