How to Get Bell Prepaid Cell Phone Service
1. Visit your nearest Bell provider. Alternatively, visit the Bell website and click 'Mobile,' then 'Prepaid.' If going to the Bell store, ask the sales associate to view prepaid phones.
2. Select a phone that you would like. Remember that any phone with Internet service requires a data plan. Select a phone that best fits your budget and needs.
3. Choose your ideal prepaid plan. If you do not use your phone often, you could choose the pay-by-the-minute plan. On the other hand, you may want a plan that includes unlimited nights and weekends. As of 2010, the pay-by-the-minute plan is 30 cents a minute and the unlimited plan is $25 a month.
4. Purchase your phone and prepaid minutes or plan. Include any additional options with your plan. This may include texting, mobile Web or international calling.
5. Pay for your order by credit card, cash, check or debit card. Payment will vary for in-store or online setup. If you purchased it online, you will have to wait for your phone to arrive. If you purchased it in-store, you can use your phone right away.
