How to Make a Phone Call to Nigeria

1. Dial 011, the United States exit code. This must be dialed in front of all calls to another country from the United States or Canada.
2. Dial 234, Nigeria's country code.
3. Dial a 70, 80 or 81 after the country code if calling a Nigerian cell phone. That number will depend on the cell phone.
4. Dial the area code of the state you are calling. This will be one or two digits. The area code for Abuja, the capital territory, is 9.
5. Dial the rest of the telephone number, which will be six or seven digits. The area code and the telephone number will total eight digits.
