How to Send Free Text Messages on Boost

Text Messaging Using Kik Chat
1. Access BlackBerry App world and download the Kik Chat free application.
2. Launch the application and enter your name and phone number to register the program to your phone. The application will send you one text message during the registration process.
3. Select 'Send a Text' after the registration process and enter phone number you wish to send a text message to.
Text Messaging From Mobile Web
4. Open the web browser of any Boost Mobile phone equipped with mobile web capabilities.
5. Access one of the free text-messaging websites available online (see Resources).
6. Register your phone to open an account with the online texting service you choose.
7. Follow the directions of the specific service you chose to begin sending free text messages.
Text Messaging Using BlackBerry Messenger
8. Access BlackBerry App world and download the free BlackBerry Messenger Application.
9. Click on the BlackBerry Messenger icon located in the menu of your BlackBerry device after installation.
10. Sign up for a BlackBerry Messenger account following the onscreen directions. You will be asked to create a screen name and password for your new account.
11. Add contacts to your BlackBerry Messenger contact list to begin text messaging for free.
