How to Send an SMS Message to a T
Send Text from Website
1. Log onto the 'Textem: Free Text' website in your Web browser. Websites such as 'SMS Everywhere: Send a Message to a Cell Phone' and 'Txt2Day: Free Text Messaging' are also available for you to send text messages from a computer to a T-Mobile cell phone.
2. Type the T-mobile cell phone user's number in the box titled 'Recipient's Mobile Number.'
3. Type your email address in the 'Email address' box. This will allow the recipient to respond to your text message through text-to-email. Text-to-email allows a user to send a response back to your email with their number @tmomail.net. For example, if the phone number is 1234567890, the email will be sent to your email from the address 1234567890@tmomail.net.
4. Select T-mobile from the drop-down menu titled 'Mobile Carrier.'
5. Type your message in the 'Message' box. Do not exceed 155 characters per message.
6. Type the security code listed in the security image and check the box next to terms of use. Click 'Send Message' button at the bottom of the screen.

7. Load your email in-box and select the 'Compose Mail' option.
8. Type the phone number @tmomail.net in the 'To' box. For example, if the cell phone number is 1234567890, the email address will show as 1234567890@tmomail.net.
9. Leave the subject area blank and type a message in the body of the email. Do not exceed 160 characters or the message may not reach the T-Mobile cell phone.
10. Click the 'Send' button. The T-Mobile cell phone user can respond to your email-to-text by replying to the message.

11. Open the options menu in your cell phone and click the 'Message' folder.
12. Click the 'Create SMS' option. This also may be shown as 'Send SMS' or 'Send Text Message.'
13. Type the T-Mobile cell phone number in the 'To' area.
14. Type the message in the body area of the text message. Click 'Send' when finished.
