How Can I Get an SMS Notification of Emails?

1. Sign in to Yahoo! Mobile (See References). At the top of the page, click the 'Sign In' link. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password. Click the 'Sign In' button.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the 'My Mobile: Register for Alerts' link and register your mobile phone. Click the 'Get Started' button when the registration page opens. Enter your 10-digit phone number and specify your wireless carrier. Click the 'Continue to Step 2' button. Confirm the details that you have entered by clicking the 'Continue to Step 3' button. Save your setting by clicking the 'Save' button.
3. Confirm your registration. An SMS with the confirmation code is sent to your mobile phone. Open the link for confirmation and type the confirmation code.
Gmail
4. Get the SMS gateway for your mobile carrier. Go to the website of your mobile carrier and search for the SMS gateway.
5. Sign in to your Gmail account. Type in your email address and password. Hit the 'Sign In' button.
6. Go to 'Settings' and click the 'Filter' tab. Create a new filter. Enter the email addresses where you want to receive SMS email notifications. Click the 'Next Step' button. 
7. Setup the forward rule for the SMS notification. On the 'Choose Action' section, check the 'Forward it to:' box. Type your SMS gateway format in the 'Format it to:' box.
8. Click the 'Create Filter' button to save your settings.
