How to Send SMS Scripts

From Your Cell Phone
1. Press the 'Menu' button. A list of options will launch. Navigate to 'Messages' or 'Text Messages,' depending on your phone.
2. Click 'New Message.' Enter the person's phone number. Alternatively, you can select the person from your list of contacts.
3. Enter your message. Make sure that it is 160 characters or less. Press the 'Send' button.

4. Log in to your instant messaging or third-party account. Alternatively, you can create an account if you do not have one. Create a user name and password that you will remember.
5. Click on the name of the individual you want to send a message to. You can also enter the person's phone number if you do not have the person listed.
6. Enter your message in the text box. Press 'Send.'
