How to Hide Sms Messages on the iPhone
1. Open Safari on your iPhone and go to the Fake Texts website at faketexts.com.
2. Register on the Fake Texts website and make a PayPal payment to secure a download. As of December 2010, it costs $0.99 to register and download.
3. After your purchase, follow the emailed instructions to install the Fake Texts web app on your iPhone. You will need to navigate in Safari on your iPhone to the link provided and hit the '+' button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Create fake text messages to seed the Fake Texts app with with some messages, so that it appears legitimate. You should ensure that the Fake Text app contains enough text messages that it will fool any person who might check up on your texting habits.
5. Relocate the original Messages app to a less obvious location. Move it to your fifth or ninth home screen and bury it within a folder with other apps. You should be able to hide Apple's Messages app deep enough that a simple once-over of your iPhone does not reveal the subterfuge.
6. Continue to conduct your private SMS conversations using the Messages app from its hidden location on your iPhone. You may also wish to periodically update the Fake Texts messages so that it appears that you are placing and receiving new text messages over the course of time.
