How to Send a Free Emergency Text

1. Log in to your email account.
2. Open a new blank email message.
3. Enter the recipient's text message email address in the 'To' field. The text email address consists of the mobile phone number followed by the cell phone providers SMS gateway extension. For example, an AT&T customer's mobile text message address would be 1234567890@txt.att.net. (See Resources.)
4. Enter your message in the body of your email.
5. Click 'Send.' Your message will be delivered to the mobile phone's text message inbox.
