HTC EVO 4G
The HTC EVO is a smartphone capable of 4G data speeds. Featuring a 4.3-inch touch screen, the EVO is equipped with Google's Android Froyo (2.2) mobile operating system. The included Google Voice Search function is embedded within the messaging client. Upon pressing the voice button, EVO users can type and send messages using their voice. Other features on the HTC EVO include dual cameras, an HDMI output, 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a Flash-capable Web browser.
Samsung Epic 4G
The Epic 4G is a slider smartphone manufactured by Samsung. The phone is also capable of 4G speeds and includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology. The Epic 4G uses Google's Android Eclair (2.1) mobile operating system. It also includes Google Voice Search, which types and sends SMS messages by analyzing a user's voice and decoding it into text. The Epic 4G also includes Sprint ID, which allows users to quickly personalize their phone with apps and wallpapers according to their interests.
LG Optimus S
The Optimus S is a compact smartphone manufactured by LG. The smartphone is equipped with a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen, four physical buttons, a volume rocker and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Like the EVO, the Optimus S uses the Android Froyo mobile operating system and the Google Voice Search application. The Optimus is also compatible with Sprint-developed mobile applications such as Sprint ID, Sprint Music Plus, Sprint Zone and Sprint TV.
Sanyo Zio
The Sanyo Zio is a sleek candy bar smartphone quipped with a 3.5-inch touch screen, a navigational trackball and a virtual QWERTY keyboard. Additional features include GPS navigation, email and Web browsing and voice-activated dialing. Like the Epic 4G, the smartphone is also equipped with the Android Eclair mobile operating system. The included Android market grants access to over 100,000 downloadable applications. The Zio integrates Google Voice Search into its messaging client as well, and can send messages that were created through speaking.
