How to Get a Free ATT Phone

1. Sign up for a two-year contract. AT&T offers select phones for free if you sign up for a two-year contract.
2. Buy two phones. During promotional periods AT&T often gives you a free phone when you purchase one. This is helpful if you and a family member want to buy a mobile phone at the same time.
3. Sign up for a family plan. This is if you have multiple individuals in your family that want a mobile phone. Purchasing a separate contract for each individual is costly. With a family plan you are able to obtain certain mobile phones for free (this generally does not cover iPhones, Droids and other smartphones).
