1. Launch your emailing program on your computer's Internet browser.
2. Click 'Attach a file' to search your computer for a music file or ringtone to add to your phone. Click 'Open' on the file you wish to use as a ringtone. Verizone phones support ringtones of 40 seconds or less in Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) format.
3. Enter your Verizon phone's 10-digit text message email address in the 'To:' field of your email composer. Format the number as follows: cellnumber@vtext.com.
