How to Send Free Texts From PCs to Mobile Phones
Using email
1. Sign into a work or personal email account.
2. Enter the person's mobile phone number inside of the 'To' or 'Recipient' box found on the page. Do not use any dash marks when writing the phone number (For example '2422422424').
3. Type the cell phone carrier's email address directly after the cell phone. For example, those sending a text from a PC to an AT&T customer will type '@txt.att.net' directly after the phone number (For example '2422422424@txt.att.net').
4. Enter your message inside of the 'Message' box on the page.
5. Click 'Send.' The email will be sent to the entered mobile phone number for free.
6. There is no limit on the size of messages you can send to a mobile phone via email. Long messages will be sent as two or more text messages.
Using TXT 2 Day
7. Open the 'TXT 2 Day' homepage in your Web browser.
8. Type the mobile phone number inside the 'Phone Number' box on the page. You may also enter your email address inside the 'Return Email (Optional)' box if you wish. Doing so will allow the person to respond to your text.

10. Click inside the 'Enter Text Message' box and type in the text message you wish to send. The message cannot exceed 140 characters.
