How to Send Free SMS to Maxis

1. Choose a website that allows you to send text messages to Malaysia. Three that you can use include Txt2Day, Text4Free and CbfSMS (see Resources). As of 2010 these sites are all free to use and don't require registration.
2. Go to the site that you've chosen to use and type in the phone number of the Maxi subscriber who you are messaging in the box provided.
3. Provide your name, email address, or phone number. This will allow the receiver of the message to reply. However, this step is optional.
4. Select Maxi as the mobile service provider and Malaysia as the country from the drop down boxes.
5. Type the text message in the box provided. It can be between 140 to 160 characters long. Click the 'Send' button and your message will go to the Maxis subscriber.
