How to Send SMS Messages to ATT Subscribers

From Your Computer
1. Go to to an online text-message site like AT&T Text Message or Text4free.
2. Enter the mobile number of the AT&T subscriber you are sending the message to.
3. Compose your message.
4. Click 'Send Message.'
From Your Cell Phone
5. Go to your cell phone's menu and click 'New Message.'
6. Enter the AT&T subscriber's phone number in the recipient box.
7. Compose your message.
8. Select 'Send.'
Send an SMS via Email
9. Open your email.
10. Click 'Compose New Message.'
11. Put the AT&T subscriber's 10-digit phone number and '@txt.att.net' in the 'Recipient' field. It will look like this: 1234567894@txt.att.net. Txt.att.net is AT&T's email-to-SMS gateway.
12. Compose your message.
13. Click 'Send.'
