How to Send a Text Message Without a Cellphone

1. Log into your email client and compose a message. Minimize its size if possible to 160 characters since some cellphones have this standard limit on the size of a message they can receive as a text.
2. Determine the wireless carrier of the phone you are sending the message to by asking the person receiving it or using FoneFinder.com.
3. Learn the proper protocol designated by the wireless provider to use in the 'To:' field of your email. 4. Create a subject for your email, such as 'Message from ____________'
5. Attach photos, videos, MP3 files or attachments to your email. Keep this at a minimum, however, to ensure that your message isn't rejected for its size.
6. Click Send, and later verify your message was received.

7. Choose a website TXT service, such as Text2Day or SMS Everywhere, that specializes in sending free SMS messsages. Set-up regular text messages to individuals or groups through a paid service like TXTSignal.com.
8. Enter the area code and phone number of the recipient.
9. Select the cellphone provider of the person you are sending your message to. Use FoneFInder.net to learn who the cellphone provider is of someone you are blindly emailing.
10. Compose your text message in the allotted space. Note any restrictions on the size of the message you are sending, such as a 160-character limit.
11. Read and agree with any terms of service, and click send.
