One of the many good things about MetroPCS is that there is a great variety of free ringtones available for this carrier, including music genres from Country to R&B. Examples of websites with free ringtones include Funtonia and Mobiles24.com. Find links in the Resources section.

Make sure to check if the free ringtone you want to download is compatible with your particular MetroPCS cell phone. Then download free ringtones using your MetroPCS cell phone. Open the Web browser from your cell phone. Type 'wap.' and then the name of the website you will be downloading from (for example, 'wap.mobiles24.com'). Select a ringtone and click 'Save.' Note that some of the websites require a free subscription before you can begin your downloads.

Subscribe to a service--available through the MetroPCS website (see Resources)--that sends you updates on new ringtones. This way you will always know when new ringtones have been released.
