How to Send a Free Text to a Mobile Phone
Email to SMS
1. Log in to your email account and open a new blank message.
2. Enter the recipient's text email address in the 'To' field (see Resources). The text email address is the 10-digit mobile number followed by the carriers email extension.
3. Enter you message in the body of the email and press 'Send' to deliver the message.
Free Text Messaging
4. Open the 'Free text messaging' Web page of Free Text Messaging (see Resources).
5. Enter the recipient's mobile number in the 'Mobile number' field.
6. Enter your email address in the 'Your Email address' field.
7. Enter a subject for the message, if desired.
8. Select the recipient's mobile phone provider from the drop-down list.
9. Enter your message in the 'Message' field. Messages should be 100 characters or less, including punctuation and spelling.

10. Open the 'Free Text Messaging' Web page of TextForFree (see Resources).
11. Enter the recipient's mobile number in the 'Step 1' field.
12. Enter the subject in the 'Step 2' field. You can leave the subject blank if you desire.
13. Enter your message in the 'Step 3' section. Your message must be 140 characters or less including spacing and punctuation.
14. Select the recipient's mobile service provider from 'Step 4' and click 'Send free text message' to deliver your message.
