How to Get Free Ringtones for No Cost on My Phone With No Credit Card

Through The Internet
1. Navigate to a free ringtones website.
2. Upload the audio file you desire from your computer to the free ringtones website you selected earlier (i.e., Audiko, Zedge or Tonzr), or find one you like in the site's collection using the search utility. If you are uploading a file, the website will convert the file to a 30-second clip. When the upload/conversion is complete, or when you have found a ringtone clip you like in the site's collection, download the ringtone clip back to your computer using the provided download link.
3. Connect your phone to your computer. Plug the smaller end of the USB data cable into your phone and the larger end into an available USB port on your computer. Shortly after connecting, an icon for your phone will appear on your computer's desktop. Double click this icon to view your phone's contents (i.e., the audio or music folder).
4. Drag the ringtone file from your computer to your phone's audio or music folder.
5. Disconnect your phone from your computer once you have transferred the file. Then open the audio file via your phone's media/audio menu. Press your 'Tools' or 'Options' button and select 'Set as ringtone.'
Make Your Own
6. Obtain free sound editing software. Download, install and open the program.
7. Click the 'File' Menu in the program and open the audio file you wish to turn into a ringtone. The file will then be opened in the main program window. Select the 20 to 30 seconds that you would like and select 'Trim' to shorten the audio file to that selection.
8. Click on the 'File' menu and 'Export.' Name your file and choose the format you would like to export it in (i.e., MP3) and choose a target folder (i.e., Desktop).
10. Drag the ringtone file from your computer to your phone's audio or music folder.
11. Disconnect your phone from your computer once you have transferred the file. Then open the audio file via your phone's media/audio menu. Press your 'Tools' or 'Options' button and select 'Set as ringtone.'
