How to Send a Free SMS to Nigeria

1. Go to a site that allows free texting. A few that you can use are Txt2Day.com, Smsfree4all.com and junglesms.com. Some sites require you to register. You will need to include your user name, password and email address. As of 2010, it is free to send your message with these sites.
2. Enter the phone number of the person you want to contact in Nigeria. Select the name of the cell phone service provider for the number you want to contact.
3. Type your message in the box provided (the number of characters allowed is usually 140). Click 'Send.'
