How to Send a Yahoo SMS From My Computer

1. Open Yahoo! Messenger on your computer.
2. Sign into your Yahoo! account.
3. Select your intended SMS recipient from your contact list.
4. Open their contact information card, and add their phone number to the card.
5. Click on 'Send an SMS Message' from the actions menu in the main Yahoo! Messenger window, or in a conversation window.
6. Select the recipient from your contact list, then click 'OK.'
7. Compose your message, then click on 'Send' to send your message.
8. Roll your mouse over the recipient's Contact ID in the messenger list, then click on the small SMS button to open the SMS message composer.
