How to Remove Space on a Cell Phone

USB Connection
1. Connect your phone to the USB cord, then plug it into the PC. Save the music, photos or video files you are going to delete from the phone to your PC. Once this is completed, unplug your phone and enter your phone's main menu.
2. Go into the 'Applications' or 'Media' folder and select the folder marked 'Music.' Select the file you no longer wish to keep on your phone. Go to 'Options' or the equivalent in the bottom left or right corner of the mobile phone screen and select 'Remove' or 'Delete.' Repeat this option as many times as you need to free up some space.
3. Go into your phone's menu and select 'Applications' or 'Menu.' Find a folder marked 'Capture' or 'Videos.' Select the videos or pictures you wish to delete and remove them. If you still have additional space that needs to be freed up, delete more of your media, and if this is not possible (i.e. you've deleted it all) delete your text messages.
4. Go into your phone's messaging center and then to your Outbox. Highlight the message you wish to delete, select 'Settings' and delete it. Repeat this action as much as you need. You can also perform this same action in your Inbox and email folders, also located within your messaging center.
Phones with SD cards
5. Remove the mini-SD card from your cell phone and insert it into the SD adapter. This will make the SD card normal size.
6. Insert this SD card in the SD card reader located on your laptop or desktop PC tower. If you do not have a built-in SD card drive, you can insert your SD card into a SD card reader and plug this into your PC via USB cord.
7. Navigate to your PC's 'Start' menu located in the bottom-left corner of your toolbar. Click 'My Computer.' This folder may be located on your desktop as well. Find the drive marked 'SD' or with the words 'External' or 'Memory Card.'
8. Double-click this drive to reveal the folders. Double-click the folder you wish to delete files from and right-click this selection. Select the 'Delete' or 'Remove' option, confirm the choice and the file will delete.
9. Take the mini-SD card from the drive and insert it back into your phone.
