How to Send a Video to a Cell Phone for Free
1. Turn off your cell phone and remove the SD storage unit, usually located on the side or back of the phone. Insert the SD card into its adapter, and the adapter into your computer's SD port. If using a USB cable, turn on your cell phone. Attach one end of the cable to your phone and the other to your computer.
2. Choose the 'Open Folder to View Files Using Windows Explorer' option when prompted by the pop-up Windows Explorer screen. (This will open automatically once your computer recognizes the device connection).
3. Navigate to your SD card's 'Video' or equivalent folder.
4. Open a new Windows Explorer screen and locate the video you want sent to your cell phone. Manually drag and drop the video's icon from your PC's Explorer window to your SD card's Explorer window. Wait for your files to copy.
5. Safely remove your device from your computer by clicking the 'Eject' button at the bottom-right of your Windows task panel. When prompted, remove your SD card and adapter. Insert your SD card back into your phone and turn it on.
