How to Send an SMS From Facebook

1. Access the Facebook Mobile page on the Internet (see Resources).
2. Click on the option titled 'Sign Up for Facebook Text Messages.' A small form titled 'Activate Facebook Texts' will appear.
3. Fill in the 'Activate Facebook Texts' page with your country of origin and your cellular phone carrier.
4. Send a text message using your mobile phone to the number provided. As of October 2010 you are required to send a text message with the letter 'f' (with no quotes) to 32665.
5. Wait to receive the text message from Facebook Mobile. The text message will contain a code, which you must enter into the box labeled 'Enter The Code Here.' Following code entry, your Facebook Mobile account will be activated and you can send and receive SMS texts from Facebook using your mobile device. You will also be able to post status updates via text message.
