How to Activate My Cricket Cell Phone
By Phone
1. Charge your phone before starting the activation process, as the programming may drain a bit of your battery.
2. Open the battery compartment of your phone and locate the ESN number. The ESN number is usually found on the sticker underneath the battery so you will have to remove the battery. Write this number down so you are able to refer to it later in the activation process. Re-insert your battery and turn the phone on.
3. Contact Cricket at 800-CRICKET (800-274-2538) from another phone and say you want to activate your phone. You may encounter an automated activation line. If so, follow the prompts; if not, follow the next step.
4. Give the representative the ESN number from your phone, your name, your Cricket account number (if applicable) and address. Follow the instructions given by the representative to finish the activation of your phone.
