How to Send Free SMS to a TV Channel

1. Open your computer's Web browser and visit the website of a free text messaging (SMS) service. Examples are in the Resources section.
2. Enter the number to the television station, and select the carrier supporting the station's service.
3. Enter your email address in the appropriate box.
4. Enter your text under 'Enter Message.' Most of the websites allow you between 100 to 140 characters. If the television station is requesting a specific message for contest purposes, enter that exact message. Click 'Send.'
